1-Stop Settings |
The 1-Stop program has some specific settings which should be reviewed before you commence using the program for daily management and milk recording. Some of these settings relate to the "Your Herd Today" main window, which is designed to give you a daily view of cow breeding states and other events requiring your attention.
To open the main settings window, click on the 1-Stop Settings button on the left hand side of the 1-Stop Management screen. This is divided into three main pages; 1-Stop, Your Herd Today Events, and Formatting and Sounds.
This page has 2 sections:
| General Settings | Select your Pedigree Prefix and Breed Society Tick box to switch on or off showing animals with passports on the submitted animals list Tick box to switch on or off showing a confirmation message after registration details are entered |
| Milk Recording | Specify your recording frequency from the two available options Tick box to enable notification of milk recordings. You can specify the number of days before recording that you are notified You can specify the date that your next recording is scheduled for Tick the box to add the animal short name to the recording sheets |

| Birth and Movements | use the tick boxes to determine whether the item displays on the Birth and Movement Registrations screen |
| Fertility Events | this section has 6 sub-sections where you can select which fertility events display on "Your Herd Today". Each fertility event has a "number of days" parameter that you can set according to your style of management e.g. show cows due for service 56 days after calving. You can also select to sort by Brand Number or Date order |
On this page you can determine whether the Your Herd Today window displays when the program opens, specify sounds, and select whether you wish to print animal names on reports (where possible)
