You can download a free software trial, which is fully functional for 10 days.  After this time, the software reverts to a “read only" state. This means you can continue viewing all the screens, but not enter new data. If you would like an extended trial, please contact us.

If you have any problems downloading a trial, please let us know and we will send you a CD-ROM by post.

Demonstration data can also be downloaded for use during your evaluation period.  Instructions on loading the demonstration data are located in the brochure.  We can also offer a free conversion of your own herd data from the following sources:

• CTS Cattle On Holding text file.  This is available to all Cattle Keepers via the CTS Website.  The database created from this file will contain all animals on your holding, including Official Identity Number, Sex, Date of Birth, Breed, Genetic Dam (where the dam is also in the herd).
• Spreadsheet file.  In some cases we may be able to import animal identity records from a spreadsheet file.  Please contact us to discuss your particular data source.

At the end of your software trial, we will contact you to further discuss your needs and answer any questions that you may have.  To start using Orchid Beef you will need to subscribe to the system and download software a activation key.
